Darlene Dorsett, age 63 passed on August 26, 2022, in Waco. She was born in Albion Michigan to Dorothy Nichols and William Rowe on December 1, 1958. Darlene and her twin sister were the oldest of seven children. She grew up in the Michigan and Ohio area. When she married, she and her husband moved to Texas where they raised their 3 children. She then went back to school where she accomplished and earned her Offset Printing degree. Once grandchildren started coming, her heart grew even bigger and became her world. Her biggest passion was hand stitching to make quilts.
Darlene is survived by her parents William and Dorothy; sons, Edward Steven Dorsett Jr., and wife Beatrice of Bellmead, Billie Dorsett of Oregon; daughter, Cheryl Dorsett of Greenville. Brothers, Mike and wife Lori of Lima Ohio, Doug and wife Kim of Lima Ohio, Kenny Salyer of Lima Ohio, Todd and Jo Salyer of Lima Ohio. Sister, Arlene Salyer of North Judson IN.
Preceded in death by her husband Edward Steven Dorsett Sr, her brother Keith Salyer, brother-in-law Denzel Salyer, and stepfather Ismael Salyer.
