David Lee Dillon Jr., 89, of Caddo Mills passed away on August 20, 2024. He was born on September 4, 1934, to Ivah and David Lee Sr.
David proudly served in the U.S. Air Force, was a fireman at E-Systems, and later served as a security guard. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed his time singing at the Opry in Caddo Mills.
David is survived by son, James Dillon; daughter, Elizabeth Dillon; grandchildren, Jennifer Hall, and Daniel Ramburg. As well as his brother, Darrel Dillon; his great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Aidan, Kieley, Lilly, Lorelie, Suvi, Irelyn, Thor, Finn, Autumn, and Sierra. Sisters, Nita Vallerqa, Darlene West, and Deanna Dillon. As well as his beloved companion Louise Moser.
He is Preceded in death by his wife, Ferlene Dillon, and son Raymond Dillon.
There will be a visitation on Sunday 25, from 3-5 PM, and a funeral service at 11 AM on Monday, August 26, 2024. Both services will be held at LYNCH Funeral Home Chapel in Caddo Mills. Interment will follow the Funeral service at 12:45, at the Mount Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City.
