Donald “Don” Lee Mitchell, 72, of Greenville passed away on March 21, 2024. He was born on December 10, 1951 in Greenville to Hoss and Jean Mitchell.
Don was a proud firefighter for the Greenville Fire Department, serving from 1985 – 1998. He loved hunting, fishing, and nature. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandkids, his AA Traditions family, and his “poker buddies”. Don was a Christian who was not a materialistic man and was very grateful for what he had and what God had provided.
Don is survived by his daughter, Stefani Freeman and Keith of Pelham, NH; grandchildren: Valerie Freeman and Taylor Piscitello of Nashua, NH, Brandon Freeman of Pelham, NH; brother, Chuck Mitchell and Stacey of Texas City; cousins: Debbie Skidmore, Jim Mills, Terry Jordan; and faithful companion, Ginger.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hoss and Jean Mitchell; and son, Brandon Mitchell.
There will be a memorial at 10:00 am on Monday, March 25, 2024 at Lynch Funeral Service Chapel in Greenville.
