Doris Jean Norfleet Jennings, 88, of McKinney, formerly of Greenville, passed away on June 22, 2019 at the Medical City of McKinney. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Mr. Frank Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Doris was born in Wagner, Texas on December 11, 1930 to John Willie and Lillie Mae Norfleet. She married C. A. Jennings on August 18, 1948 in Greenville, Texas. She worked as a secretary for Wrights Air Conditioning and was a member of Johnson Street Church of Christ.
Doris is survived by her son, Bobby Jennings; daughters, Brenda Jennings, Betty Maldonado; sisters, Catherine McClure, Joyce Norfleet; grandchildren, Jennifer Bell, Jeremy Jennings, Brandon Maldonado; great-grandchildren, Brenna Bunting, Audrey Bell, Robert Bell, Baylee Maldonado, Richard Jennings and Hunter Jennings.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.Pallbearers will be Jim McClure, Jeremy Jennings, Brandon Maldonado, David Maldonado, Robert Bell and Hew Hamilton.
