Doris Myers Bowles, 64, of Greenville, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2019 in McKinney. Doris was born on July 20, 1954 in Leeper, Missouri, the daughter of Luther James Myers and Janette Anna (Hertline) Myers. She worked for many years as a medical caregiver.
Doris is preceded in her death by her parents, Luther and Janette Myers; her daughter, Sarah Ann Bowles; and her sister, Ethel Johnson.
Doris’ family members who are cherishing the memories of her life are her daughters, Michelle Masri and Constance Cruz; her sons, Russell Stroud, Donald Bowles, Donny Bowles, and Tony Bowles; grandchildren, Majed, Mariam, James Dylan, Xanth, and Christopher; great grandchildren, Colby, Cason, Eric, and Ezra; sisters, Ruth Ann Lindsey, Donna Bess, and Delores Powers; brother, Luther Myers.
Her memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Quinlan Funeral Home. The family request that memorials be made to Lake Area Shared Ministries in honor of Doris.
