Dorothy Jean Coleman, 91, of Caddo Mills, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2019 in Denton. A graveside service 2 P.M., Friday, November 22, 2019 at Memoryland Memorial Park with Pastor Butch Bruton officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. until service time at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Mrs. Coleman was born in Floyd, Texas on October 31, 1928 to Homer Eley and Flossie Robinson. She married N. L. Coleman, Jr. on March 16, 1952 in Floyd, Texas. She retired from Henson’s as a dressmaker and was a Baptist.
She is survived by her sons, Arthur Wayne Coleman of Caddo Mills; daughter, Denise Ott and husband, Lawrence of Denton; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 2002, one son, one brother, one sister and one granddaughter.
Pallbearers will be Lawrence Ott, Joe Coker, Mike Roddy, Lucas Roddy and Herbert Smith.
