Dr. Wesley Harry “Wes” Archer died at his home on April 23, 2020 in Greenville TX at the age of 70.
Wes is survived by his wife Jorn Jamieson, children, Dawn, Craig, Keith, Luke, Mark, Marie and Paul; his brother Benedict and sisters Kathie Higgins, Mary Daly, Jacqueline Corsetti, and Glenda Brunato.
He is preceded in death by his parents Harry A. and Mary Lottie Archer and one daughter, Jacqueline Hope Archer.
Wes was born on June 1, 1949 in San Francisco, CA to Harry and Mary Archer. He graduated from the University of California-Davis in 1975 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine. He married Patricia Kearney, in 1975. Over several years, the couple welcomed 8 children into their home. He married Jorn Zimmermann Jamieson in 2003.
Wes was accomplished at veterinary medicine and his abilities in construction and Real Estate he learned from his father. But he most loved breeding exotic cattle. He was a life long member of the Catholic Church. “Wes’ also loved to play bridge.
A burial service will be scheduled for this summer at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Wes’s life.
