Edythe Juanita Acher age 91, passed away June 8, 2024. Edythe was born in Gober, Tx area on June 3, 1933 to Conrad C. Curtis and Tina Woodson Curtis.

Graduating from Gober High School in 1950. She married her high school sweetheart, Vernon Elvien Acher in Bonham, Tx on December 23, 1950. She worked in the Dallas area, beginning with Neiman Marcus from 1951-1954 and leaving there to be with her husband serving in the United States Air Force. On her return to Dallas, she worked 35 years in automobile dealerships, retiring in 1994 to be with her husband at the farm. Activities were mainly at the Amvets Post #36 in West Tawakoni. If not there, she could be found in her yard showing off her green thumb with her beautiful flowers and vegetable garden.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years. Her parents and brother Zeltous Curtis. Her daughter Rebecca Osif and granddaughter Diane Hodge.

She is survived by daughter Pamela Riccardi and husband Vincent. Son-in-law Frank Osif. Sister Joan Dupree. Grandsons; Vernon Curtis Day, Druce Day Jr. and wife Tricia and Chase Griggers and wife Ashley. Granddaughters; Chevie Lynne Foutz and husband Drew, Amber Nicole Robison and husband Kyle. Sherry Bruce and husband Greg, Kristen Ricciardi. Great Grandchildren; Casey Hodge, Keaton Forsyth and wife Sarah, Bailey Forsyth, Clowey Forsyth, Kennedy Forsyth, Summer Day, Haylee Robison, Hayden Robison, and Ace Randell Griggers. Several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2024, 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Ingram Funeral Home.

Graveside service will be held at Gober Cemetery on June 12, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.
