Epifania (Fannie) Mciver, age 76, of West Tawakoni, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday 13, 2024 in Dallas. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024, at 1 at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan with Visitation 1 hour prior to service. A burial will follow at 2:00 P.M. at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway in Dallas, Texas.
Epifania Gahol Mciver was born in Guiuan, Philippines on Monday, April 7, 1947, to the late Mr. Arcadia Daguinod and Teodosia Gahol Daguinod. Fannie met the love of her life, Douglas Mciver in 1973 in the Philippines. They moved to the States and married on December 4, 1975, in Hawaii. Fannie loved life and loved to spread joy wherever she went. Her beautiful smile would light up a room and her laugh filled the hearts of those around her. She loved music and dancing. Fannie had a passion for traveling and loved going on cruises to the Caribbean, Trans-Atlantic, and Panama Canal. She loved hosting and entertaining family and friends at their beautiful lake house. Her compassion and gentleness showed in her love for animals and the trust animals had in her. She loved hand-feeding wild deer, squirrels, opossums, stray cats, and other animals that came to visit her. Fannie enjoyed spending time in her flower garden with her roses. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Mciver in 2015. Her beautiful legacy will continue in the hearts of those who loved her.
She is greatly loved and will be dearly missed by her devoted husband of 50 years, Douglas Mciver of West Tawakoni; son, Douglas Mciver and wife Jennifer of Oklahoma; daughters, Marilou Do and husband Jack of California; Stacey Feiring and husband Jaimie of Kansas; grandchildren, Samantha, Nathan, James, Josephine, Cadie, Ryan and Tobie; great-grandchildren, Addison, Avery and Alice; brothers, Rolando Daguinod and wife Teresa Salamida, Antero Daguinod and wife Teresa Dadul, and Marciano Daguinod and wife Sonia all of the Philippines; numerous nieces and nephews in the Philippines; and her kitty kid, Gina of West Tawakoni.
