Faye was born to Jack & Lottie Hightower on October 19, 1933 and grew up in Trinity, Texas with siblings Lewis and Joyce. After high school, she went to business school in Houston. She was working as a waitress when she met Bryan Jennings Briggs. The two married July 29, 1957 and raised their children together in Greenville.
She leaves behind daughters, Jackie Sutton Furst, Brenda Bee and husband George, Clarice Warden, ten grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild, along with many honorary family members.She joined Jesus on November 16, 2021, along with her parents and siblings, beloved husband, B.J., son-in-law J.B. Warden, granddaughter Mitzi and honorary granddaughter Skye. She will be missed and in the hearts of many. Donations can be made in her honor to the Alzheimer’s Association.
