Garland Odell Craig, 76, of Quinlan went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 22, 2020 in Royse City. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, January 27, 2020 at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan, Texas with Pastor Bill Muske officiating. Interment will be at Creagleville Cemetery in Grand Saline, TX.
Garland was born on June 17, 1943 to the late Conley Arnold Craig and Lena Ellen Furrh in Grand Saline, Texas. He served in the United States Army from May 13, 1965 to April 30, 1970. On September 1, 1972 he married Dorotha Evelyn Jones. Garland worked in the produce department at Minyard Food Store for 25 years. He was a member of Lakeview Church in Quinlan. Garland loved to fish and most of all his family.
He was loved and will be missed by his son Wesley & Susan Craig of San Antonio; stepsons Danny Huckaby of Caddo Mills, Gary Huckaby of Rockwall, and James (Steve) and Phyllis Huckaby of Garland; two grandchildren Meadow Craig and Ellison Craig; twelve step-grandchildren Monica Ruff, Brandy Nalls, Cyndle McDowell, Dray Huckaby, Lisa Huckaby, Kimberly Kiernan, Jaime Huckaby-Hagen, Jeremy Huckaby, Steven Huckaby and Michael Huckaby and sixteen step-great-grandchildren. Also left to cherish his memory are many Furrh cousins.
