Harold Lynn Green, 86, of Greenville, passed away on August 23, 2019 in Greenville.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, August 26, 2019 at Park Street Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Hailes and Rev. Samuel Glenn officiating. Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park.
Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Mr. Green was born on October 4, 1932 in Campbell, Texas to James Milton Green and Elvie Rachel Lowery. He married Melva Jean White in Campbell, Texas on January 19, 1951. He retired as a lineman from Farmers Electric Cooperative. He was a member of Park Street Baptist Church and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW).
He is survived by his wife, Jean Green of Greenville; son, Michael Green and wife, Sharon of Greenville; daughters, Sharon Flournoy and husband, George of Lone Oak, Shirley White and husband, Randall of Greenville; Janet Green of Lone Oak, Tami Finley and husband, Terry of Fort Worth; brother, Jim Green of South Carolina; sister, Nell Watkins of Garland; thirteen grandchildren; twenty seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Jeremy Flournoy, Chad Flournoy, Gary Green, Marc Green, Eric Wall, Aaron Wall, Randy White, Evan Finley, and Reid Finley.
