Harold Ray Mayers, Sr. “Uncle Harold”, 69 of Greenville, TX passed away on February 6, 2020. He was born on August 31, 1950 to Harvey and Eddie Mayers in Weatherford, TX. Harold was a very caring and generous family man that loved spending time with his grandchildren who called him “G Dad”. He served in the Army for over five years and was very proud of his service. In his spare time Harold enjoyed working on cars, he also enjoyed giving to charities, including Shriners, St. Judes, and many more.
Harold is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Jeri Mayers; children, Lydia Kay Mayers and her boyfriend Josh Porter, and Harold Ray Mayers, Jr.; grandchildren, Madelyn Mayers, Shaedon Bell, Adrian Porter, Colten Mayers, Claire Michelle Mayers (on the way); siblings, Helen Cook, Harvey Mayers and his wife Lisa, Wanda Long and her husband Glen, Thomas Mayers, Jimmy Mayers and his wife Vonda, Linda Mayers, and Ida Mayers; best friend, Clyde Askins and his wife Beverly, numerous nieces and nephews along with a host of loving relatives and friends.
Harold is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Henry Mayers and Kathey Plowman.
