Harvey Dean Walker passed away on April 13, 2024. He was born on March 25, 1942, in Rockwall, TX to Harvey George Walker and Margaret Ruth Sullins.
Harvey had many hobbies that he was passionate about. From his hot rods that he would take to car shows, winning many awards throughout the years, to his amazing talent for building and carpentry. Harvey was always working on something in his workshop. He also had a deep love for his family and adored his daughter. Anywhere Harvey went, he had friends, no one stayed a stranger for long around him.
Harvey is survived by his wife, Debra Walker; daughter, Melanie Hernandez and husband Bradley of Caddo Mills; grandchildren: Madison and Jayden Hernandez; sister, Sherry Banks of Maude, TX; brother, Tracy Walker and wife Monti of Kingston, OK; niece, Tammy Walker; nephew, Russell Walker and wife Janette; along with a host of additional nieces, nephews, and other family members that loved him dearly.
Harvey is preceded in death by his parents; brothers: David Walker and his wife Bonnie, Danny Walker, and Jerry Walker; and brother-in-law, Jr Banks.
A service in honor of Harvey’s memory will be held on Friday, April 19, at 1:00 PM in the Lynch Funeral Home Chapel in Caddo Mills, TX with Dr. Russell Rogers presiding over the service.
