Helen Carol Jewel (Jackson) Sheehan 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on June 9, 2022 at her home in Greenville. She was born on December 21, 1939 to James “Shorty” and Adella Jackson in Marysville, California.
Helen loved the Lord with all her heart. She was a devoted and faithful member of the Johnston Street Church of Christ in Greenville, Texas.
She was very talented and skilled at crocheting; a hobby she very much enjoyed and dedicated many hours to doing. She made sure that each and every grandchild was given a special handmade blanket.
Most of all, Helen was a family-oriented woman. She absolutely adored her family. She loved each one from the depths of her heart and cherished every moment spent with each member.
Helen leaves lasting and wonderful memories for her family and friends.
Helen is survived by her children, Carol West and husband David, Sandra Miller and husband Stoney, Deitra Hicks, Brad Sheehan and wife Kerry, Perry Sheehan; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Maureen Harris, Jim Jackson and wife Jean, Kerry Jackson and wife Jolene; numerous nieces and nephews; along with a host of loving relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Sheehan; and son, Randy Sheehan.
The Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Lynch Funeral Service in Greenville, Texas. The Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 17, 2022 in the Lynch Funeral Service Chapel in Greenville with interment following at the Simmons Cemetery.
