Ignacio Royce deLeon, 30, of Greenville passed away on February 3, 2021, at Hunt Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Deacon Marco Antonio Cruz officiating. Burial will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park.
Ignacio was born on October 12, 1990 in Greenville to Ignacio deLeon Borjas and Angela Gates Brannon. He was a graduate from Greenville High School. Ignacio was a member of St. Williams Catholic Church. He worked many years with the oil refinery as a pipe fitter and worked as a saddle maker.
Ignacio is survived by his father, Ignacio deLeon Borjas and wife, Lorie; mother, Angela Brannon and husband, Mark; sisters, Victoria Monarrez and husband, Oscar, Lorena deLeon, Susana deLeon, Ana Rainey and husband, Zachary, Cielo Reyes, Lucas Brannon girlfriend, Melissa and Hannah Brannon; nephews and nieces, Oscar and Mackenzie Monarrez, Adrian and Geli Vaca, Loralynn, Eli and J. T. Rainey, Zaylie Reyes and Carmen Victoria. Along with numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and family members.
The family would like to express a special thank you to all the doctors and nurses and staff of the ICU at Hunt Regional.
Ignacio is preceded in death by his grandparents, Manuel deLeon and Maria Guadalupe Borjas Castillo, Royce Ira “Bud” Gates and Barbara Ann Gates and John and Flora Lee Eskue.
Pallbearers will be Rudy deLeon, Damon White, Arturo Castillo, Manuel Vargas, Daniel Ibarra and Jorge Rodrigues.
We are requesting that you limit the size of the gathering during the viewing due to the concerns regarding the current health crisis. Masks are required. Please feel free to come and pay your respects but limit your contact with others as per recommended guidelines from the CDC.
