Jacob “Jake” Eric Lucero, 65, of Greenville passed away on May 4, 2024. He was born on December 26, 1958 in Dalhart to Maximus and Elnora Lucero.
Jake proudly served our country in the United States Army. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed playing and watching football. His favorite teams were the Cowboys and the Sooners. Jake enjoyed spending time outdoors and loved spending time with his grandchildren and other family members.
Jake loved the Lord and was a member of Family Fellowship Church of Greenville.
Jake is survived by Jeri Lucero and their daughters: Jesika Lucero, Ericka Amaya and husband Fredrick; daughter, Natasha Purcell; siblings: Jeannine Lucero, Russell Lucero, Leslie Thye, J.R. Lucero, Steven Lucero; grandchildren: Rylin Combs, Jaydin Amaya, Aryssa Amaya, David Latimer, Brooke Latimer, Jordyn Latimer, Kristy Latimer, numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Maximus and Elnora Lucero; and sister, Stephanie Lucero.
There will be a memorial service at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Lynch Funeral Service in Greenville. Dr. Russell Rogers presiding.
