James Cecil Rogers, 93, of Greenville, passed away on Thursday, March 21,
Cecil was born in Thurber, Texas on April 30, 1925 to Frank D. Rogers and Donie Lee Miller Rogers. Cecil married Macie Mae Graves on June 27, 1943 in Los Angeles, California. He was a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church where he also served as a Deacon. Cecil was a machinist/tool & dye maker. Cecil had a passion for ranching and baling hay.
Cecil is survived by daughter in law Patsy Rogers of Burleson, daughter Kathy White & husband Robert of Garland, daughter Lee Ussery & husband Donald of Greenville, Son John Rogers and wife Jami of Whitehouse, sister Virgie Honeycutt of Los Angeles, grandchildren Tony White, Rhonda Garner, Cindy Ensley, Kimberly Lumley, Russell Rogers, Michael Ussery, Mindy Justice, Chris Rogers, Nick Rogers, Taylor Kirkpatrick, eighteen great-grandchildren plus twins on the way, and one great=great grandchild.
Cecil is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Macie, of 67 years, parents, son Ronald J. Rogers and sister Lela Morris.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Ensley, Russell Rogers, Chris Rogers, Nick Rogers, Jacob Rogers and Caleb Ensley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerry Anderson, Ross Powell and Kara Baker
