James Owen Crider Sr., 76, of West Tawakoni, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 9, 2020. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan, Texas with visitation prior to the service. Burial will be at Sardis Cemetery in Rienzi, Mississippi.
James was born on April 12, 1943 to the late James & Ruth Crider in Burnsville, Mississippi. He enjoyed fishing, race car driving, and karaoke. James loved spending time with his family and friends. Kids loved him and he always had candy, a trinket or something to make them feel special. He was very loyal and would help anyone. To his nieces and nephews, he was the best uncle in the world.
James is loved and will be missed by his son J.O. Crider and wife Gina of Bells, Tennessee; daughters Becky Horner of Alamo, Tennessee, Edana Brown and husband David of Alamo, Tennessee; sisters Peggy Olgetree of Cherokee, Alabama, Patsy and husband Otis Huggins of Rienzi, Mississippi; grandchildren Payton Horner, Junior Crider, Dallas Crider, Taylor Stutts, and Tyler Crider; 1 granddaughter.
