Jane Jeanette Muse-Oakley (Jaynie) 72, was born December 28, 1949 to Grady and Margaret Wright Muse in Oklahoma City, Ok. She married Harry Dwight Oakley on March 15, 1968. Jaynie was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 06, 2022.

As longtime resident in Hunt County, Jaynie was a devoted Christian, wife and homemaker for 53-years and a member of the Southwood Christian Church.  Jaynie was a former church choir director and volunteer for numerous organizations. Jaynie enjoyed traveling, boating, fishing, cooking and spending time with her family.

Jaynie was affectionately known as MiMi to her grandchildren.

Survived by her husband Harry Dwight Oakley of Celeste, daughter DeAna Oakley Gore and husband Jeff Gore of Greenville, grandchildren Jarred Oakley and wife Anease Oakley of Greenville, Tyler Oakley, Austin Oakley and Aleigha Oakley of Commerce, Adyson Gore, Jordan Gore and Braxtyn Gore of Greenville. Sister Judi Muse-Robinson and husband Phillip Robinson of Waco. Numerous nephews, nieces, great-grandchildren, extended family and beloved friends.
Jaynie is preceded in death by her parents and son Stephen D. Oakley.

A celebration of life service, led by the family, will begin at 1:00 pm Saturday, February 12, 2022, at the Southwood Christian Church in Greenville, Texas with Pastor Ted Smith officiating.
