Jerod Wayne Jackman, age 41, of Quinlan, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00P.M. Tuesday at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan.

Jerod was born on September 29, 1979, in Arlington, Texas to Vance Daryl Jackman and Teresa Marie Meyer Collins. He was a mechanic by trade and owned and operated Jackman Mobile Repair Shop. He married Josie Sariah Smith on December 31, 2019, and they made their home in Quinlan.  Jerod loved being a family man and had a passion for trucks. He enjoyed shopping for trucks, working on trucks and building trucks. Jerod was a ‘fix it’ man and there was almost nothing that he could not repair. He loved to bar-b-que and make his famous salsa for friends and family. Jerod also loved driving his side by side on the beaches in Galveston. He will always be remembered as an honest, hardworking man that enjoyed drinking his cold Coors Light with his many friends and family. His laughter and wonderful smile will be missed by all that knew him.

He is greatly loved and will be dearly missed by his devoted wife, Sariah Jackman of Quinlan; mother, Terri Collins of North Dallas; father, Vance Daryl Jackman and wife Debbie of Garland; sons, Dylan Jackman, Hayden Jackman, Chase Kvalheim and Shawn Hines all of Quinlan; daughters, Savannah Grace Jackman of Quinlan, Jordan Hamilton and husband Ethan of Balch Springs, and Bailey Kvalheim of Mesquite; brothers, Cory Collins and wife Paula of North Carolina, Chris Collins and wife Amber of Killeen and a host of friends too numerous to mention.
