Jerry Glenn Mills, 76, of Celeste, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2019. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Higher Trails Cowboy Church with Rev. Randy Bird officiating. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be on Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Jerry was born on February 19, 1943 in Greenville, Texas to King Taylor and Doris Jordan Mills. He married Cheri Floyd Halderman on January 21, 2010 in Greenville, Texas. He served in the U. S. Army. Jerry was a sales representative in the concrete business. He was a member of the Higher Trails Cowboy Church of Celeste.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Cheri Mills; sons, Curtis Mills, Steven Mills, Corey Lemmon, Brent Lemmon, Stephen Halderman, Russell Halderman; daughter, Donna Sanchez; brother, Jim Mills; grandchildren, Scott Mills, Kevin Diaz, Emily Diaz, Sara Sanchez, Justin Sanchez, Amanda Sanchez, Cody King, Shane King, Jace Mills, Sage Mills, Blake Lemmon, Jaycee Lemmon, Caden Lemmon, Kara Halderman, Dylan Halderman, Ryan Halderman, Tyler Halderman and 5 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and sons, Mark Mills and David Mills.
