Services for Jerry Ronald Neagle, 70, of Lone Oak, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Monday, March 27, 2023, at New Hope Baptist Church, Lone Oak, with Chaplain Richard Moore officiating, under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Lone Oak.
Interment will be in Hall Cemetery, Lone Oak.
Mr. Neagle passed away March 23, 2023, in Greenville. He was born May 11, 1952, in Waco, to Marlin Emmitt and Evelyn Dennis Neagle. He had lived in Greenville for 23 years, before moving to Lone Oak 19 years ago. Jerry was a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church and a 1971 graduate of Lone Oak High School. On April 2, 1971, he married Fonda Lynn Payne at Prairie Valley Baptist Church in Campbell. Jerry served 8 years in the US Army. He worked 18 years at Aramark Uniform Services and for Lone Oak ISD. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Marlin David Neagle and Michael Ray Neagle; and father-in-law, James F. Payne.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Fonda Neagle of Lone Oak; mother-in-law, Billie Jean Payne of Lone Oak; two daughters, Teresa Lynn Wilson and husband Greg of East Tawakoni and Jerri Wofford and husband Brad of Flint; brother, Marshall Edward Neagle and wife Vicki of Golden; sister, Connie Love and husband Gary of Golden; seven grandchildren, Hali Balentine and husband Scott, Lorem Wofford, Damian Wilson, Aden Wilson, Madalynn Wilson, Guy Wofford and Rhyder Wofford; one great-granddaughter, Aubrey Balentine; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Memorials can be made to Hall Cemetery 220 Westward Court, Waxahachie, Texas, 75154.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m., Sunday, March 26, 2023, at Bartley Funeral Home, Lone Oak.
