Jesse James Ayers, 49, of Caddo Mills passed peacefully at his residence surrounded by family and friends. Jesse was born February 20, 1973 in Greenville, Texas to Cecelia Hughes and Sonny Nelson. Those who knew Jesse knew he had a great love for his family and his music.
Jesse is survived by his parents: Cecelia and Danny Ayers, and Sonny and Janice Nelson. Siblings: Shanda Ayers and Wesley Brown, Justin and Aleshia Ayers, Tommy Ray Nelson, and Sunni and Danny Zamora. He is also survived by grandmother, Peggy Johnston, and several uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to his blood relatives, Jesse also leaves behind a family bonded by the love of music.
Jesse is preceded in death by his grandparents.
A graveside service will be held Monday, March 7, 2022, at IOOF Cemetery in Caddo Mills, Texas starting at 2 PM.
