Jimmy Andrew Humphries, 88, of Greenville, passed away on September 20, 2019 in Greenville. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Monday, September 23, 2019 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ben McGraw officiating. Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. until service time.
Mr. Humphries was born in Lubbock, Texas to Leonard R. Humphries and Meda E. Mayner on October 11, 1930. He married Mary Burns Humphries on June 3, 1965 in Sulphur Springs, Texas. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and worked a Manager of Materials at E-Systems in Greenville.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Humphries; sister, Jo Ann Jackson and husband, Jim; nieces, Shelly Townsley and husband, Rodney and Nanette Freeman and husband, David; great-nephew, Reece Townsley.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Stevens, David Freeman, Ken Roddham, George McDonald, Jake Roddham and Rodney Townsley.
