Jimmy Leo Wallace, born on April 15, 1944, in Lone Oak, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2025, at the age of 80. A cherished resident of Celeste, Texas, Jimmy dedicated over 30 years of his life to owning and operating Greenville Glass, where he made lasting connections in the community. His legacy continues through the love he fostered in his family and friends.
A devoted father, Jimmy is survived by his sons Tony & Todd Wallace, daughter Shannon Young, daughters-in-law Kelli Rose and Arlene Wallace as well as son-in-law Craig Young. He was preceded in death by wives Patsy Romans and Sandra Opry. He was a proud grandfather and great grandfather. He was deeply proud of his children and cherished the time spent with them. Whether it was hunting, fishing, or sharing unforgettable moments at the deer lease with his sons and grandsons, Jimmy found immense joy in nurturing those relationships.
Jimmy’s love for the outdoors was matched only by his unwavering commitment to his family. His laughter and warmth brought joy to every gathering, and he will be remembered for his open heart and generous spirit. As we celebrate the life of a wonderful father and business owner, let us honor the many memories that will forever shine brightly in the hearts of those who knew him.
