Joan Leigh (Boyd) (Pedersen) Tillery, 78, of Greenville, died Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville. A memorial service will be held later.
Mrs. Tillery was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 1, 1941. She was the daughter of Lynn Edward Boyd and Ethel Leigh Jordan Boyd. She married Ralph M. Tillery, who preceded her in death. She was a retired title clerk and Raytheon employee.
Survivors include her daughter, Michelle Blackshear and husband Ricky of Greenville; sons, John S. Pedersen and wife Connie of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Michael L. Pedersen of Washington state and Gary L. Tillery and wife Noelle of Greenville; sister, Jacque Morgan of Muscatine, Iowa; grandchildren, Shawn Pedersen of Oregon and Keegan R. Blackshear of Tyler, Texas; and special friends, Larry and Phyllis Ragsdale of Missouri. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and sister, Judith Lehr.
