Joellyn (Jody) Williamson Durbin, age 63, passed at home in West Tawakoni, Texas on April 9, 2019. Jody was a mom, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend. She remembered details from years before and loved to share stories to her friends and family. At times she could be a firecracker, but she had a heart of gold as she would give you anything you needed when she could. She loved to cook and she just knew that a hot meal would make any situation better. She felt most at home in the kitchen making a meal for someone.

Jody loved her dogs more than anything and spoiled them rotten any chance she got. Her dogs, Ginger, Bonnie, and Daisy were her heart and soul. She also loved plants, flowers, birds, and animals alike, especially hummingbirds; she was waiting to see the first ones of the season. She would often be found pacing back and forth cheering on her Dallas Cowboys!

Jody is preceded in death by her son, Jared Michael Brickhouse and her father, Billy Wayne Williamson.

She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Jeff Durbin, daughter, Jennifer Miller, son, Jeffrey Brickhouse, sister, Jan Boyett, mother, Barbara Williamson, three grandchildren, Kayla, Tyler, and Bryce as well as four children and nine grandchildren by marriage, aunts, uncles, nieces, and cousins.

There will be a graveside service at Reilly Spring Cemetery on Friday, April 12, 2019 at 10:00am. Following the service, there will be a reception at Reilly Springs Community Center to share stories and memories.
