Services for Johnny Ray Jackson, 66, of Lone Oak, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Lone Oak Baptist Church with Pastor Elmo Stiggers officiating, under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Lone Oak.
Interment will be in Rabb Cemetery, Lone Oak.
Mr. Jackson passed away June 2, 2021, at his residence in Lone Oak. He was born March 10, 1955, in Lone Oak, to Jessie Lee and Nelsene Johnson Jackson. Johnny lived all his life in Lone Oak and was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, Lone Oak. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, and had many stories to tell. He loved children and enjoyed giving them candy and or money. Johnny was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kevin Jackson; and two sisters, Wanda Jackson and Gloria Jackson.
Survivors include his wife, Hattie Emma Brown of Lone Oak; two sons, Tyrone Brown and wife Michelle of Greenville and Germaine Brown of Bonham; two brothers, Alfred Jackson and wife Julia of Dallas and Dennis Jackson of Ft. Worth; four sisters, Sherry Hubbard of Emory, Gwen Bradley of Albuquerque, NM; Mary Hobbs of Emory, and Tracy Cooper and husband Leon of Emory; nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and numerous other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends, 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, at Bartley Funeral Home, Lone Oak.
