Johnny Ray Nichol, a devoted Maintenances Mechanic for L-3 until his well-deserved retirement, passed away on June 2, 2024, in Tyler, Texas. He was born on July 3, 1952, in Greenville, Texas.

Johnny will forever be remembered by his loving family and friends He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Nichol, his brothers Dawayne and Eddie Don Nichol with their respective wives Anna and Janet. He is also survived by his children Jonathan Wayne Nichol, Jenna Denise Nichol, Jacquleline Rae Nichol, Stacy Marie Mott with husband Vincent, and April Renae Ward with husband Bobby. Johnny leaves behind a legacy through his 11 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren.

He is now reunited in eternity with his father Benjamin Shepherd Nichol and mother ImaJean (Vance) Nichol.

The visitation for Johnny will be held at the Generation Faith Center in Quinlan, Texas on June 7, 2024, starting at 1:00 PM. This will be followed by the Funeral Service at 2:00 PM at the same location. The Graveside Service will take place at Hooker Ridge Cemetery in Lone Oak, Texas at 3:30 PM.

Johnny Ray Nichol will always be cherished and remembered for his kindness, dedication to his work, and unwavering love for his family. May he rest in peace knowing he was deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
