Joseph William Ross, age 71, of Greenville, passed away May 27, 2020. Joseph was born April 15, 1949 to James T Ross and Marcella Kreger Nelson in Woodward Oklahoma. He was a man who enjoyed family time and working outdoors on various projects. As an antique car enthusiast, he enjoyed restoring old cars. Joseph was an avid animal lover and also had the distinction of being the first male Girl Scout leader.
He is survived by his loving wife, Beverly McCurdy Ross of Greenville; son Joseph E. Ross; daughters, Stacey Ross-Gordon and Cathy Anne Ross Ramon and stepson Paul McCurdy; grandchildren, Mathew Dean Ross, Thomas Joseph Snell, Martin Eric Ramon II, Miranda Paige Carlton, Theodore Robert Ross, Ashleigh Marie Snell, Anthony James Snell, and Abby-Lynn Leigh Ross; and great-grandchildren Kaison Eric McCurdy, Zayden Robert Ross and Madalyne Bailey Ross.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, brother, Dean Allen Ross; and wife Cathy Ann Wells Ross.
Visitation is on Tuesday June 2nd from 6-8:00 pm. at Lynch Funeral Service in Greenville. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 3rd.
