Joyce “Jo” Ross, 86, of Campbell Texas, passed away on February 5th, 2024. She was born on April 28th, 1937, to Guy Franks and Francis Friddle in Sulphur Springs, Texas.
Jo was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She cherished spending time with her family and creating memories that will be forever treasured. Jo was also a devoted wife to her late husband, Billy Ross, who preceded her in death. Jo found strength in her Methodist faith, which guided her throughout life’s journey.
She is survived by her son, James O. Putman Jr.; daughter: Charmaine Garrett; grandchildren: Cherokee Escalante, William Paul Garrett, Leslie Stone, Autumn Cotten, Jacoby Putman; and several great-grandchildren.
Jo is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy Fred Ross; and grandson; Jerid Putman.
There will be a graveside service held on Thursday, February 8th, 2024, at the Cumby Cemetery at 11 am.
