Juanita Ruth Holland, 90, of Greenville, Texas, passed away on April 2, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2022, from 6 PM to 8 PM at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. A graveside service will be Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 2 PM at Hoyt Cemetery in Hoyt, Oklahoma.
Ruth was born on June 3, 1931, to Joseph Theodore Murray and Juanita Beatrice Murray in Enid, Oklahoma. Ruth married the love of her life Richard “Dick” Holland on March 18, 1950, in Stigler, Oklahoma. Ruth spent the early years of her marriage being a homemaker. Ruth was of the Methodist faith. Later in life Ruth worked at Wing Industries, The Holiday Inn and drove a bus for the Hunt County MHMR.
Ruth is survived by her sons Richard “Doug” Holland, Jr., Reggie Holland, Kent Holland and wife Sherry, Mark Holland, Brett Holland, daughter Suzette Thomason and husband Johnny, brother Tom Murray, sister Lorraine Scruggs, grandchildren Jeremy Holland, Matthew Holland, Brad Thomason, Tyler Thomason, Erin Holland, Trent Holland, Zach Eckols, Bryan Holland and great grandchildren Nathaniel Holland, Alivia Holland, Jeremiah Holland, Riley Thomason, Dylan Eckols, Ariel Eckols, Anthony Garcia, Brenton Holland and Ashton Garcia.
Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters Helen Core, Doris Siegle and granddaughter April Holland.
Pallbearers will be Brad Thomason, Tyler Thomason, Jeremy Holland, Matthew Holland, Kent Holland and Erin Holland.
