June Benner Page passed away peacefully on September 25, 2021 after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease. June was born to Richelieu and Warren T. Benner on November 26, 1938 in Vincennes, Indiana, but cherished her time growing up in Greenville, Texas where, after the death of her father, she was raised by her mother and her loving second father, Hughes White. June was an avid tennis player, but in 1989 she found her true calling at Hope for the Heart where she was instrumental in developing counseling material, which brought Biblical hope and practical help to others through written material and radio on over 100 topics and which was ultimately translated into 36 languages in 60 countries. June loved her seven grandchildren, and her favorite activity was watching and cheering on her six grandsons at one of their many sporting events. All who knew June know that she was a loving, no-nonsense, practical lady who deeply loved the Lord.
