June Singleton, 83, of Quinlan passed away on Monday, December 16, 2019 in Greenville. She was born on October 22, 1936 in Merit, the daughter of Jack Oliver Reed and Thresa Mae (Jumper) Reed. June married Marvin Fred Singleton, Jr. on June 25, 1954 in Hunt County. June was an accomplished seamstress.
June is preceded in her death by her husband, her mother and father, one brother, a daughter, a son, a grandson, and a great-grandson.
Those left to cherish the memories of her life are her brother, Mike Reed and his wife Debbie; grandsons, G. W. Sasser and Chris Singleton; nieces, Kimberly Perkins, Kristin Switzer, Debbie Singleton, and Samantha Chanquet; nephews, Gary Taylor, Buster Singleton, and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be Thursday, December 19, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the chapel of Quinlan Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held on Friday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Ranse Moore officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Quinlan IOOF Cemetery.
