Kenneth Eugene Maroney, 81, of Greenville, passed away on February 14, 2023 surrounded by his family at his residence. There will be a visitation on Monday, February 20, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be at The Oasis at a later day.
Kenneth was born June 26, 1941 in Commerce, Texas to Connie E. and Odelia Smithey Maroney. He served in the National Guard and owned and operator of Downtown Motors. He enjoyed NASCAR Racing, being at the lake, old cars, The Brass Rail and New Orleans.
He is survived by his son, Kenny Maroney; brother, Craig Maroney and wife, Nancy; nephews, Jason Maroney and wife, Katy, Randy Maroney and wife, Stephanie, Brad Maroney and wife, Natalie; great-nephews, Riley and Jake Maroney; and great-friends, Cara and Charles Ivey.
