Kenneth “Kenny” Wayne Murdock, 63, of Greenville, Texas went to be with his Heavenly Father on May 9, 2023. Kenny was born on January 6, 1960, to Ida Mae Spoonemore and Elbert Dewey Murdock in Greenville, Texas.
Kenny and his loving wife, Nelda, of 16 years were members of Crossroads Church and active members of the Christian Motorcyclists Association (CMA) where he served for many years. CMA was a vital part of Kenny’s life. On Iron Mountain, in Arkansas, he met and married his wife and they spent many years traveling the states by motorcycle. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to spend time hunting, fishing, and camping with his family. What most defined Kenny’s life was that he was a loyal follower of Christ. His life exemplified that of Christ in love and service.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Nelda Murdock; children: Heather Lowe and husband Jeremy, Natalie Garcia and husband Alex, Jessica Murdock, Emily Smith and husband Justin, Tina Lowe and husband Bradley, and Lori Myers and husband Brian. Grandchildren: Connor Drain, Cayleb and Chloe Garcia, Kynleigh, Madilyn, and Hannah Lowe; siblings: Lee Murdock and wife Elizabeth, Norma Reynolds and husband Jerry; and a host of loving extended family and friends.
Kenny is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Billy Ray and a precious angel grandbaby.
A visitation will take place on Saturday, May 13, 2023, starting at 12:30 PM at Crossroads Church in Greenville, Texas. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation starting at 1:30 PM. Following the funeral will be a committal service at Tidwell Cemetery in Greenville, Texas.
