Graveside services for Mr. Kenny Ray Briggs, 62, of Lone Oak, are scheduled for 3 p.m., Friday, June 6, 2025, at Pilgrim Rest #2 Cemetery, Golden, with Bro. Jim Russell officiating, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.

Kenny passed away peacefully at his home in Lone Oak on Friday, May 30, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on September 22, 1962, in Seminole, Texas, Kenny was the son of Raymond Ray and Marjorie Rue Sherwood Briggs.

Kenny spent most of his life in East Tawakoni, where he was a member of Bois D’ Arc Baptist Church. A proud 1981 graduate of Rains High School, he went on to earn associate degrees from both Tyler Junior College and Texas Tech University.

With a true passion for plants and creative outdoor spaces, Kenny worked as a landscaper, bringing beauty and inspiration to his clients through his designs. He was also an avid fisherman who found joy and peace on the lake. Above all, Kenny was a devoted father and grandfather, known for his kindness and love for his family.

Survivors include his son Kory Briggs and wife Anna of Longview; daughter, Morgan Rae Langston and husband Max of Wolfe City; two sisters, Debbie English of East Tawakoni and Kathi Fansler and husband Del of Flint; three grandchildren, Barrett Gill, Kenneth Briggs, and Raylan Briggs; and numerous other relatives and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Pallbearers will be Deven Fansler, Sammy Walker, Neil Russom, Darrell Booker, Kory Briggs, Max Langston.
The family will receive friends, 2-2:45 p.m., Friday, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home.
