Lillie Mae Bitner, 87 of Campbell, TX passed away peacefully on November 29, 2019. She was born on September 14, 1932 to Elbert Riley and Rebecca Mereldia Stell Biggs in Ladonia, TX. Lillie graduated from Ladonia high School and attended and graduated from Paris Jr. College. She married Douglas E. Bitner on July 25, 1959. They were married, loved and lived life to the fullest together for 50 years. She and Doug called Campbell home since 1969 and raised 4 sons. They owned and operated Bitner’s Grocery & Gas Station from 1972 until her retirement in 1992. She enjoyed watching sports and driving with Doug to their farm property in Campbell. Both enjoyed listening to Bluegrass music. Lillie is survived by her sons, Michael and his wife Sharon, Gary and his wife Denice, Darrell and Glenn all of Campbell, TX; grandchildren, Jeremy of Dallas, Blake of Greenville; great-grandson, Brannon; great-grand daughter Lillie of Greenville; brother, Wylie of Longview, numerous nieces and nephews along with a host of loving relatives and friends. Lillie was proceeded in death by her loving husband Douglas Bitner in 2009 and her brother Richard Biggs. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 3rd, 2019 at 6-8pm at Lynch Funeral Service in Greenville, TX. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, December 4th, 2019 at 2pm at Center Hill Cemetery at Hwy 19 & County Rd 4040 Lovelady, TX.
