Linda Gale Katchinska, 73, of Greenville, passed away August 26, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Sanders officiating. Burial will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Linda was born December 16, 1949, in Tifton, Georgia to Roscoe and Estelle Baker Bannister. She married H. L. ”Butch” Katchinska in Tifton, Georgia. She retired from L-3 (E-Systems) and was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church, while currently attending Crossroads Assembly of God.
Linda is survived by son, Rick Katchinska; daughters, Tina Fouse and husband, Ally, Kimberly Dickeson; brother, Charles Bannister; grandchildren, Kristen Lenius, Emily Robertson and husband, Dallas, Sarah Murga and husband, David, Casey Katchinska, Ian Dickeson, Brady Dickeson, Braden Katchinska & wife, Marlee, Allison Katchinska; and 8 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother, Wayne Bannister.
Pallbearers will be Jim Finney, Tim Webb, Riley Fitzgerald, Micha White, Ronnie Winters, and Mickey Mixson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Alley Fouse and Bill Abell.
