Linda Paulette Cockrum, affectionately known as Nana, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2021. She was born to Judy Keller Bledsoe and Troy Joe Anderton on January 1, 1965 in Dallas, Texas. Linda fiercely loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them most of all. You could always find her in the stands cheering on her grandchildren at their sporting events. She also loved garage sales, crossword puzzles, cooking videos, and crocheting with Aunt Thelma.

Linda was preceded in death by her father Troy Joe Anderton, stepfather Marvin Bledsoe Sr., brother Coy Joe Anderton, and daughter Britney Nicole Cockrum.

She is survived by her son James Cockrum and wife Whitney, daughter Andria Cockrum and partner Shannon Siarot, mother Judy Bledsoe, sister Tracie Kreitel and husband Chris, brother Charles Anderton, brother Marvin Bledsoe and wife Amanda, sister Caroline Hamilton and husband Timothy, and her beloved grandbabies (as she called them) Landon Edwards, Reese Cockrum, Brooklynn Walsh, Keliana Siarot, Sawyer Cockrum, and Landry Cockrum, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Services celebrating Linda’s life will be held at Quinlan Funeral Home in Quinlan, Texas. A viewing will be held December 19, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service December 20, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.
