Lloyd Wesley Hemingway, 87, of Greenville passed away on July 30, 2019. A graveside service is scheduled for Saturday, August 3 at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Park Cemetery. Visitation will be an hour before the service, 9:00 AM at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Surviving Lloyd are his daughter, Kristan, and sons, Paul, Ryan, Jared, Jay, Lloyd, and Tad; 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of twenty-seven years, Joyce Ann Hemingway.
He was a loving father, a veteran of the Korean war, and spent his professional life in aeronautical engineering. Throughout his life, Lloyd was an active participant in Scouting programs and enjoyed a variety of model airplane activities.
