Lowery Donald Moreland, lovingly known by all who knew him as “Rusty,” passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on April 4, 2022 at his home in Campbell, Texas. He was 75 years old. He was born on September 4, 1946 to Willard and Ivanelle (Lowery) Moreland in Dallas, Texas.
Rusty lived life to the fullest. He was devoted to his work as a service consultant in the automotive industry having worked for Sewell Village Cadillac for more than 37 years. In his free time he loved being outdoors. He could be found fishing, camping, grilling, or gardening at almost any given time. He and his wife Mary were former members of the Campbell Methodist Church.
Most of all, Rusty was a family man and loved and cherished time spent with them. He leaves lasting and wonderful memories for his family and friends.
Rusty is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Mary Robbins Moreland; children, Tammy Fleming, Casey Don Morland and wife Shannon, Corena Thompson and husband Craig, Nancy Bishop and husband Johnny; grandchildren, April, Richard, Shon, Wesley, Zach, Jessi, Jake, Walker, Josh, Haley, Hailey, Tyler, Baylee, Connor; 10 great grandchildren; brother, Ronny Moreland and wife Kay; sister, Sherry Perkins; numerous nieces and nephews; along with a host of loving relatives and friends. Rusty is preceded in death by his parents; nephews, Todd Levassar and Chad Osterlund.
There will be a Memorial Service at 2:00PM on Sunday April 10, 2022 in the Lynch Funeral Service Chapel in Greenville, Texas.
