Lula Mae Flowers, 79, of Campbell passed away surrounded by family on November 24, 2023. She was born on April 16, 1944 in Orange, TX to Willis and Johnnie Rutherford.
She married her love, Carl C. Flowers, Jr. in Dallas on June 29, 1962.
Lula is survived by her husband, Carl Flowers, Jr.; sons: Carl “Buddy” Flowers III and wife Gayla; Johnny Flowers; William D. Flowers and wife Brenda; sisters: Trena White; Sandra Ellis; Jane Bradley; brother, Gary Flowers; grandchildren: Krystal Chambless, Carl “Buddy” Flowers IV and wife Kelli, Kalli Johnson and husband Clay, Nikki Nickols and husband Joey, Dakota Flowers, Jade Flowers; great-grandchildren: Preston Chambless, Blaine Chambless, Chapel Flowers, Jace Chambless and Tyler Monroe.
She is preceded in death by her Parents; brothers: Willis, David, and Dorsey Rutherford, Jimmy Flowers; and grandson, Forrest Chambless.
There will be a visitation from 4 – 6 pm on Sunday, November 26, 2023 and funeral service at 11:00 am on Monday, November 27, 2023 at Lynch Funeral Service Chapel in Greenville. Interment will follow service at Prairie Valley Cemetery in Campbell.
