Margaret M. Kirby, 94 of Quinlan, Texas passed away on April 30, 2019. She was born to William and Ida Mae Puckett in Hainesville, TX. Margaret was the manager of Regan’s Dress Shop for many years. She was an excellent cook especially sweet stuff which included fried pies. Margaret was a very happy, vibrant person, always laughing, loved sports especially the Rangers and Mavericks. She loved the Lord and attended Vansickle Baptist Church for many years.
Margaret is survived by son, Jimmy Kirby and his wife Lea Ann; daughters in law, Linda Kirby and Jean Kirby; brother, Linard Puckett and his wife Rita; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews along with a host of loving relatives and friends.
Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Kirby and sons, Carrel Kirby and Thurman Ray Kirby.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 6, 2019 at Lynch Funeral Service in Greenville, TX at 1 PM with a visitation one hour prior to service.
