Marvin Edward Bailey Jr., 63, of Commerce TX, passed away peacefully in his home on April 18, 2019.
Visitation will be held from 10 am to 12 pm on Tuesday, April 24, 2019 at the Cross Trails Cowboy Church in Fairlie, TX. Funeral Services will be held immediately following visitation at 12 pm, with Jason Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow the service at Sonora Cemetery in Fairlie.
Marvin was born in Grand Saline, TX to Marvin Sr. and Carol Bailey on April 6, 1956. He married Donna Combs Bailey on March 8, 1977 in Greenville, TX. Marvin was preceeded in death by his parents, brother Rodney Bailey, sister-in-law Nita Assay and grandson Lukus Wade Swinson.
Marvin is survived by his wife of 42 years, Donna; daughter, Mandy Swinson and husband Wade and granddaughters McKynna and Bree of Commerce, TX; son, Trey Bailey and wife Racheal and granddaughters Kendall and Greenlei Bailey of Commerce, TX; sisters, Marti Yanez and husband Jeff of Chandler, TX, Avonne Green of Grand Saline, TX, and Yvonne Ballard and husband Jerry of Mineola TX; sisters-in-law Teresa Machen of Commerce, TX and Sandy Turner, and husband Stanley of Merit, TX.
Pallbearers are Justin Cunningham, Jake Cunningham, Chris Hayes, Kenny Hayes, Justin Gossett, Josh Gossett, Patrick Kelly, and Jake Muecke.
Honorary Pallbearers are Kenneth Machen, Jimmy Muecke, Joe Swinson, Allen Trumble, Tommy Peoples, Wayne Sloan, Mickey Henson and Lynn Neal.
The Bailey family would love to express their appreciation for all the prayers, food, flowers, support and love shown to us during this difficult time of the loss of our sweet Husband, Daddy and Papa.
