Marvin Eugene Robinson, 100, of Greenville, passed away on January 30, 2022, at his residence in Greenville. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Mike Miller officiating. Interment will be in Forest Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Monday, January 31, 2022, at the funeral home.
Marvin was born September 8, 1921, in Jacobia, Texas, to Martin Elmer Robinson and Rachel Spradling. He went to work for Temco in 1951 and was the tenth employee when they opened the plant, he went on to retire from E-Systems on March 31, 1989. He married Mary Ellen Lambert on November 29, 2015, in Greenville, Texas. He was a faithful member of Greenville Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Robinson; stepdaughters, Dianne Chambers and Kim True; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marie McWhorter Robinson on October 6, 2000; son, Guy Morphew; four brothers, Bill, Claud, Clyde and Harold Robinson; and two sisters, Lillian Owens and Lorena Johnson.
Pallbearers will be Makenzie True, Cameron Dixon, John Dobmeyer, Daniel Gudgel, and Trey Jackson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Caleb Miller and Tant Miller.
