Mary Agnes Vess, 71, of Quinlan, gained her wings in the early hours of January 6, 2024. Mary was born to Linda and Jesus Veracruz on July 1, 1952, in Cameron, Texas.
Mary will be remembered in the hearts of those she loved. She cherished her family and adored being a grandmother. She excelled in everything she did and looked beautiful while doing so. Mary was always put together and an all-around classy lady.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Billy Vess; daughters: Christy Vess Melton of Quinlan, Tammy Stephens and husband Jeff of Seagoville, and Kimberly Flinn of Ohio; grandchildren: Jeffrey, Brandi, Tyler, Farrah, and Chandler; great-grandchildren: Kayleigh, Rhett, Rynlee, Asher, Grey, August, and Raelynn; brothers: Joe, JR, and Lawrence; sisters: Susie, Adlina, Cathy, and Laura; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Domingo; and sisters: Marcalena, Jeanie, Carmen, and Teresa.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 11, at 1:00 PM in the Lynch Funeral Service Chapel in Greenville. A visitation will be held a day prior on Wednesday, January 10, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at LYNCH Funeral Service.
