Maudie Brown, 84, of Royse City, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 in Wylie. Maudie was born on November 17, 1934 in Montgomery, Alabama the daughter of John Daniel Talley and Rena Mae (Crim) Talley. In Montgomery, Alabama she married Don Brown. She owned and operated the Quinlan General Feed and Farm Store for over 30 years.
Maudie is preceded in her death by her husband, Don Brown; her parents, John and Rena Talley; grandson, Nathan Marsh; and a brother, Julian Talley.
Maudie’s family, who are cherishing the memories of her life, are her daughter, Belinda Kappus and her husband John; son, Barry Brown and his wife Carol; granddaughter, Melissa Moyer and her husband Brent; grandson, Rusty Davis; brothers, Ronnie Talley and Robert Tally; sister, Melvia Stevens; and sister-in-law, Rosalyn Talley.
Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 6:00 -8:00 PM in the chapel of Quinlan Funeral Home. Her service will be held on Friday, June 7, 2019 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Bobby Hernandez officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 PM in Cedarlawn Memorial Park, 5805 Texoma Pkwy, Sherman, Texas.
