May Fair Hudgeons, 92, of Greenville, died Thursday, March 21, 2019. Her funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Monday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Melva Hill officiating. Interment will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hudgeons was born April 14, 1926 in Greenville. She was the daughter of G. W. Sigler and Lucy Talley Sigler. She married Ben Hudgeons, Jr. on July 4, 1943 in Greenville. She was a homemaker and worked in sales. Mrs. Hudgeons joined Washington Street Baptist Church as a child and was a member of the former Aldersgate Church Bible Study for over 30 years.
Survivors include her son, Gary Hudgeons and wife Pamela of Caddo Mills; daughter, Linda Gillentine and husband Don of Cash; daughter-in-law, Regina Hudgeons of Quinlan; twelve grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ben Hudgeons, Jr; sons, Ben Hudgeons and Bobby L. Hudgeons; daughter, Sheri K. Hudgeons; sister, Frances Pharr; and grandson, Anthony Hudgeons.
Pallbearers will be Benny Hudgeons, III, Jerry Hudgeons, Joe Hudgeons, John Hudgeons, Jeremy Hudgeons, Brian Hudgeons, Cody Hudgeons, Don Gillentine, Kyle Gillentine and Carson Mudie.
